"White racism has many aspects: some of these we have known about for a long time, but others affect us in ways we don not expect, and we have to dig back into our past and experience to deal with them. Since we live in a society which continues to be dominated by racism, we cant go very far without coming up against it in one way or another. Betty discusses some aspects of racism today, particularly those which touch on our relationship with natrural resources."
